The Village of Putten
Putten is a green, welcoming and enterprising village at the Veluwe. Putten is an attractive municipality that has a lot to offer to thousands of recreationists and its population of over 23,500 inhabitants.

The History
Putten is and old village, located in the coastal area of the former Zuiderzee (or the even earlier Flevomeer). It is, from an agrarian point of view, one of the best spots on the Veluwe.
The Raid
On the 1st of October 1944, Putten was hit by a German raid in which practically the entire male working population was deported to several concentration camps.
